After a great check-in process with Swiss First and quickly checking out the Swiss First Lounge in Terminal A, I was driven to Terminal E and left my bags in the First Lounge and decided while I was there to check out the Swiss Senator Lounge.

A short walk back in the terminal from the First lounge is a mezzanine level with an entry for the Swiss Business lounge to the left when facing the counter or the Senator lounge to the right.

Right this way.

And immediately to the right to check out the famous whiskey lounge.

ree

Look at that!!!!

ree

Such an amazing selection of great whiskeys from all over the world.

ree

It was too early for me to try any, but on another trip I will definitely be game to try a few.

Next to the whiskey bar are lounge seats that would be fun when traveling with others.

ree

Further down into this massive lounge was a long hallway next to the terrace.

ree

Cool artwork showing the different elevations of mountains in Switzerland.

ree

Past the hallway was the dining area with coffee machines and self service drinks.

A small cold buffet area and behind a much bigger warm buffet and kitchen, but my picture didn't turn out well.

ree

Then the dining area.

ree

Beyond that was plenty of lounge seating.

ree

And beyond that were day beds.

ree

I stepped out on the terrace to watch some of the heavies depart.

ree

A 77W departing on 28.

Back inside and past the Breitling display.

The Swiss Senator Lounge in Terminal E is fantastic, it's large, roomy, great Swiss design and the excellent terrace to plane spot from. If you're not traveling in Swiss or LH first, then Star Alliance Gold passengers can access this lounge and boy would I recommend it!

Now back to the Swiss First lounge to relax before the flight.
