After a fun night before, it was time to head to ARN so I could get to Amsterdam. This time I had enough time and took the Arlanda Express which is super convenient.

ree

I was taking the big checked bag so MsFlamingo only had to deal with a carry-on. Luckily flying Plus/Business had almost no wait.

ree

With priority security I was through in less than 5-minutes and through the Duty Free shop.

ree

Back into the ARN terminal I seem to be getting to know very well.

ree

And straight to my Joe & The Juice for a rejuvenating juice to chase the hangover away.

ree

Great spotting and ironically an SAS A330 and Swiss A321, both of which I'd end up flying a week or so later.

ree

Also cool to see a Singapore 350 taxing for takeoff.

ree

Then to check-out Pontus In The Air, a restaurant and American Express Platinum and Centurion lounge within it.

ree

Cool vibe with a casual burger place to the left and more formal wine restaurant to the right.

ree

Amazing drinks selection for the restaurant.

ree

Yes please!!!

ree

Then into the tiny Amex lounge which was pretty crowded. Luckily I was able to get a table.

ree

Despite it being early in the morning, I needed something salty and carby to get the hangover to go away before my afternoon meetings in Amsterdam. This cheesy tortellini and butter sauce was perfect!

ree

Then back downstairs and to the gate just in time to start boarding.

ree

Fairly organized and they asked for Plus pax to board first.

ree

ree

The BS economy seats, but even worse SAS doesn't block the middle.

ree

At least a calming vibe with neutral wood.

ree

Soon off for departure through the grey clouds.

ree

ree

ree

Beautiful cloud formations.

ree

That's amazing!

ree

The snack box was an actual cube.

ree

It opened up with a bread, turkey, beet cream cheese and grains. Overall it was tasty for a snack.

ree

And some chocolates, but I saved them for later.

ree

Soon enough we were on approach into AMS.

ree

And descent over the farms.

ree

ree

Pulling in next to a cousin SAS A321.

ree

Overall SAS Plus was fine, but I also got lucky and didn't have any neighbors, if it was 3-abreast, that'd be pretty crappy. With more flights coming up, I'll save my judgement comparing them to Swiss.
