After landing at Heathrow, it was time to make my way from T3 to T5. Definitely no personal chauffeur service here like AF or LH.

Through the tunnels...

ree

Finally through T5 security that even with priority took forever!

And here we go in the Concorde Room finally! It's clear they've done some remodeling and was cool to check it out in personal finally. I know a lot of people don't care for the place, but I quite liked the Britishness of the place.

The informal dining area next to the bar.

The bar was well stocked with decent wines, Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle champagne and JW Blue Label.

Since it was early, there was the breakfast and not daytime menu available. I wasn't in the mood for breakfast so stuck to LPGS and would eat on the plane.

ree

The party piece of the Concorde Room is the Terraces Lounge which is an indoor lounge within the terminal that has a great patio vibe and views of the busy T5 area.

ree

I found a great spot to perch, enjoy several glasses of LPGS and plane spot.

Several lounge chairs with some people sleeping, lounging or working.

Back inside the main area, there were more private dining booths, I personally wouldn't sit there unless I was traveling with a group or needed to get more work done, otherwise I'd eat and sit out on the Terraces.

ree

After a pleasant visit, it was time to make my way to my gate and onto my 787 home.

ree

I'd wrap up by saying I quite enjoyed my visit at the Concorde Room and would love to come back and eat the daytime menu.
