With a great vacation coming to an end, we were ready to head home, but had to rebook due to the Air France strikes. I must say the La Premiere team at Air France did a fantastic job of trying to accommodate us. After going through several permutations, the best option was getting rebooked on Swiss via Zurich and then onto San Francisco. While I was sad not to fly La Premiere again this trip, I was excited to get to try LX F which is another aspirational product.

Our trip home started in the morning (but luckily not too early) for our flight from CPH to ZRH.

I love how the taxis are nice Mercedes E-classes in Denmark.

Check-in was quick and smooth, the start of Swiss precision. With that being said, we weren't escorted like Air France did with La Premiere.

We were through security quickly and past all the Duty Free shopping.

For a healthy start to the day, we went to Joe and the Juice.

Nice views as we waited for our juices.

A little plane spotting as we waited for our plane to arrive.

Ironically the flight after the one we were originally supposed to be on with Air France pulled into the gate. At least Swiss First awaited us at Zurich so I was fine.

Our plane pulled up and boarding commenced.

Typical Euro-business class with the blocked middle seat.

However I could swear they added some extra leg room.

As boarding finished, water bottles and cool towel-ettes were passed out.

Smooth take off and climb out of rainy Copenhagen.

A coffee that was decent and the Swiss chocolate that I ate before taking the picture.

A cold cuts breakfast, everything was fine and I tried just a little bit of everything for good measure.

On the screens were the airshow and showing off Swiss products, they were showing off cuisine from each class and as it would come to pass, I'd have this very dish for lunch on the ZRH-SFO flight.

Soon enough we were on descent into Zurich with beautiful scenery.

Touchdown and a quick taxi to our gate at Terminal A.

All together a nice quick inter-Euro flight. We pulled up to our gate with a nice lineup and view of where we'd be shortly at the new Terminal A First Class lounge.
