With an early flight to Zurich, we started the day quite early and didn't get much sleep. The hotel arranged a car to take us to the airport and given how early it was, we were there quickly.

ree

We had to get through check-in and since we were flying Y, no priority lines this time :(

ree

Security was quick and we were into the Duty Free shopping area as we headed into the terminal.

ree

Saying goodbye to all the Unicum digestif.

ree

The terminal is new and bright, good ambiance.

ree

Headed to grab a quick bite at one of the restaurants, nice views, but not much action.

ree

I generally don't like airport eggs, but this one was nice with Hungarian sausage and onions.

ree

As we finished eating, spotted the Skycourt lounge which is Priority Pass accessible and decided to check it out before we headed to our gate.

ree

Inside the Skycourt lounge, nicer than other lounges in Budapest, pleasant enough to spend time.

ree

Seating area.

ree

Coffee machine and standard drinks.

ree

A spread of cold cuts.

We headed to our gate and was sad to find an equipment swap from the C-Series to a much more common A319.

ree

Boarding was fairly organized and we were on the plane shortly.

ree

And no difference between intra-EU biz vs economy except the blocked middle seat.

ree

We had a Lufthansa A319 departing a couple minutes before us.

ree

Can't believe the bins weren't bursting and there was room...

ree

We pushed back and taxied to the runway.

Off we go to Zurich.

Climb out was smooth and quick, it was at this point I fell asleep and didn't wake up until we were on descent.

ree

Descent over the Swiss countryside.

We touched down after a smooth flight with beautiful weather and in true Swiss precision were at our Terminal A gate.
