As we closed off our Swiss visit, Zuerichspotter joined us through check in and some spotting on the observation deck.

We pulled into the airport train station and headed upstairs to ticketing.

ree

Straight into the ticketing area.

ree

Luckily Swiss precision got us through check-in quickly.

ree

Then we were off to the awesome observation deck at ZRH, I wish every airport, especially SFO in T2 had one.

ree

Very cool walkway!

Just in time to watch the Emirates A380 take off.

ree

What a treat, a Swiss 77W was at Terminal A for a training hop to Vienna!

Lots of C-Series action, even having four in frame. Such cool planes, I can't wait to fly on one someday.

Out onto the plank.

Back to the terminal and we met back up with MsFlamingo to head towards the gate and do some shopping.

ree

Oh look a scarf shop.

ree

Some good spotting at A.

ree

Some chocolate shopping. Funny story, we had to buy our chocolates at the airport post-security because our bags were already overweight and the only way we could manage was via Duty Free.

ree

Then towards the gate and a final beer with Zuerichspotter for this trip. Overlooking Terminal E and the heavies.

ree

Then it was time to board our A321 for the trip to Barcelona.

ree
ree

Efficient boarding with a full flight.

ree

We pushed back on time and had a smooth climb out of runway 28.

ree
ree

A smooth flight and even in economy had a small sandwich.

ree

Beautiful descent into BCN.

ree
ree

Touchdown and a quick taxi to our gate.

ree

A pleasant flight and we were excited to start the next chapter of our Euro adventure in Barcelona.
